Hi, I have been in Oxford for a few months and ride 60-100 miles a week in mainly good weather.
My average speed is 14-16mph solo, and ride out to Deddington, Abingdon, Witney and surrounding areas.
I noticed the lifetime membership is free? What’s the difference between this and the £30 yearly fee?
I am in Oxford due to being in a treatment centre for addiction, and am on limited funds. Long story :). However, one constant, when I was firing on all cylinders, was cycling and it is one of the things that has kept me alive and well. It is certainly helping a lot now.
I am absolutely open about why I am here, so please don’t hesitate to ask any questions.

Dear Neil,
Thank you for your enquiry. I’m pleased to hear the bike is helping you.
Lifetime membership is a gift that the club can give to long-standing members, hence costing them nothing.
Ordinary members can join for £30 per year, whether as a one-off payment or a recurring fee that renews each year.
We hope to ride with you soon.
Best wishes,
Peter
