By becoming a member of the Cowley Road Condors Cycling Club you are agreeing to abide by the rules of our club and through them the appropriate governing bodies.
- Helmets are compulsory on all club rides. No helmet, no ride.
- When riding during evenings you will be expected to bring good bike lights. Mudguards are highly recommended for wet weather conditions.
- Tri-bars or TT bikes are not permitted unless riding to/from a time trial event
- On your first ride you will be asked to ride in a ‘social’ or ‘medium’ ability ride group. This is to ensure you are capable of, or have a degree of experience in, group riding. It is at the discretion of the ride leader to allow admittance into faster groups.
- All members of the club must abide by our Code of Conduct
- All members of the club are advised to have appropriate personal and third party liability insurance cover as discussed in our Insurance Guide
- All members of the club are advised to have bike insurance as discussed in our Insurance Guide
- The minimum age for riding with the club is 18
- The club cannot operate events without input from our members. As a member of the Cowley Road Condors you will be expected to volunteer your time to assist in at least one club event per season. Serious or repeated failure to follow the rules of our club or those of the appropriate governing bodies may result in your membership of any of these organisations being suspended or terminated.
