Meet the board
The Condors' board is responsible for the organisation and finances of the club, as well as developing and growing the club's membership and reputation. Board members are elected annually at the club's AGM. All Condors members are welcome to stand for a position on the board. New board roles are added periodically as the club grows. Each board member has different responsibilities see below for more details about the roles and for more info about the current board members.

President
[email protected]The club president has overall responsibility for the club and acts as a “figurehead”. They will be involved in local and national cycling developments and have final vote on decisions made within the club.

Secretary
[email protected]The Secretary has overall administrative responsibility, including memberships, governing body affiliation and communication. They will also arrange any meetings within the club, such as AGM.

[email protected]The treasurer manages the finances of the club and has control over the club accounts, payments and subscription fees, supporting the other board members to achieve their plans.

Wellbeing and Welfare Officer
[email protected]Supporting and promoting the welfare of club members, which includes pastoral and financial support.

Ride Leader Secretaries
[email protected]Riding bikes is why we're all here. The Ride Leader Secretary aims to encourage, support and develop the leading of rides, to ensure there more members can ride more often.

Diversity & Inclusion Officer
[email protected]Aims to ensure equality and inclusion for all members, including those with protected characteristics. Challenges discrimination using our robust procedures. Breaks down structural and perceived barriers, widening participation. Celebrates diversity and is a visible ally to under-represented groups.

Women’s Officer
[email protected]This role ensures the equal access as well as women specific access to cycling within the club. The Condors are very proud pioneer women’s specific rides and access to competition.

Open Race Secretary
[email protected]The open race secretary is responsible for organising the Condors race teams on the open side, especially for British Cycling races. They also support Condors in other forms of racing, and encourage and support the whole club to give racing a go.

Women's Race Secretary
[email protected]The Condors have big race teams and compete in events organised through British Cycling. The race secretaries are responsible for ensuring these are planned and communicated as well as having final say on entrants if events are oversubscribed. Kristen supports women racers racing in all British Cycling categories.

ORRL Race Lead
[email protected]Leads on organising and running the Condor Oxfordshire Road Race League (ORRL) race; represents the club at ORRL meetings, and works closely with British Cycling and all local authorities in coordinating and staging the event.

Kit Officer
[email protected]It is the Kit Officer's role to ensure the famous “Pink and Black” is available for riders and has sufficient coverage for both club and our generous sponsors.

Social Media Lead
[email protected]Brings all our good news to the masses! Supports the club in maintaining its social media output through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

[email protected]The TT secretary is responsible for planning and delivering club time trials in accordance with CTT rules.
